Dion Jordan, Dontae Johnson, Shamar Stephen, George Fant were all injured for a portion of or the entirety of the offseason program and all four fought for their spot in August to make the final roster. Earl Thomas added to the uncertainty as well. But, in the end the Seahawks called the veteran defenders bluff and he returned in time for week one action. Of course, in week four, he was lost for the season.
Now to the fun business of revealing the Seahawks week 10 starters vs the Los Angeles Rams or in this case not so fun business. The Seahawks have multiple key injuries but the ones that’ll hurt the most in week 10 are running back Chris Carson and right guard D.J. Fluker because they’re not going to be able to play versus the Rams and thus new starters will take their place. It’s some bad timing for poor injury luck with the team not only playing the Rams but traveling to LA to play them.

The Seahawks were finally getting healthy at the right time but some untimely week nine injuries have foiled that plan. Now they’ll enter some entirely new starters altogether into the arena with a first-time starter playing in his first game.
