The Seattle Seahawks are in the midst of a post-beast mode rushing slump. This year offers a change with the addition of Rashaad Penny. Jaymin Bernhardt has your Seahawks 2018 running back position preview.

Seattle Seahawks fans have been very lucky to have witnessed some amazing running backs over the years. Who can possibly forget the 2005 season where Shaun Alexander rushed for 1880 yards and 27 touchdowns? He was insane! Sure he had Steve Hutchinson on the O-line to spring him but every week. Steve Raible’s voice could be heard saying on the Seahawks radio network, “TOUCHDOWN SEAHAWKS!” time and time again as Alexander tore up the best of defenses.

After Alexander, there was a short lull with Maurice Morris and Julius Jones. However, midway through the 2010 season, a talented two year player from the Buffalo Bills was signed by Pete Carroll and John Schneider. Beast Quake anyone? Enough said. Lynch brought his interesting personality to Seattle which was spotlighted many times to the media (especially Super Bowl media days). However, what he lacked off the field with his talking, he made up for with his play on the field.
